| Styrofoam Bowl Hats: Easy Crafts for Kids |
| Recommended Supplies 1 Package of Styrofoam Bowls 1 Package of Kid’s Paints or Poster Paints 1 Package of Foam Stickers 1 Package of Feathers 1 Package of Pipe Cleaners |

(1) You will want to start by painting your styrofoam bowl hat. If
you aren’t using paints, you will want to start coloring with markers
first.
(2) Once the paint or markers have dried, you can then start
decorating your hats. The following steps are just a few of the many
ways that you can make a preschool craft hat.
(3) Adding foam stickers, especially “funky,” shaped ones, it is a
great way to add color to a foam bowl hat. If you don’t have foam
stickers, you can use foam cutouts, but just be sure to use enough
glue.
(4) Adding feathers is another way to “spice,” up this fun
preschool craft project. What you will want to do is poke a small hole
in the styrofoam bowl to insert the feathers. It may be a good idea to
tape the features to the bowl from the inside. This will not only help
your features stay, but it will also help to prevent pokes.

| Preschool Craft Painting Tip they are likely messy when they paint. To prevent too much paint from being wasted or to prevent the mixing of colors, you may want to use a paper plate. You can put a few drops of each color on the paper plate and then your child should be good to go. |
