Pen / Pencil Holder: Easy Craft Projects for Kids
Making a pen / pencil holder is a great preschool craft project for both toddlers and preschoolers. This preschool craft project is one that actually makes a great gift, especially for parents or grandparents. Your child’s creation can also be used to store their markers or colored pencils.
Supplies Needed: Container (or another similar container) * Drawing Paper or Construction Paper * Markers, Crayons, or Colored Pencils * Glue * Tape Optional Supplies: Stickers
1 – Start by giving your child a piece of drawing paper or construction paper to color on. I give my daughter a full sheet of paper, as she is usually “devastated,” when the paper is originally cut down to size. Note: For large sized containers, like the paper may need to be used.
Directions:
2 – In addition to simply drawing, your child can also use stickers to add a nice fun touch to their preschool made pen / pencil holder.
3 – Cut their drawings down to wrapping the paper around the Nestle container and trimming the paper along the edges.
both glue and tape for extra reinforcement. 5 – Fill with your child’s markers or colored pencils or give as a gift to a relative.
