Handprint Christmas Wreath: Easy Christmas Crafts for Kids
Making a handprint Christmas wreath with your child is a nice Christmas preschool craft project. In all honesty, there is more work involved for you, the parent, than your child. With that said, this is a Christmas preschool craft that children of all ages enjoy. Personally, my daughter loved it.
What You Will Need: Paper Plate (Optional, But Recommended) Green Construction Paper Red Construction Paper Scissors Glue Stick
Directions:
(1) As previously stated, paper plates are optional, but they make this Christmas preschool craft project much easier. What you will want to do is cut the inside out of a paper plate, so that you are left with the outside circular edge. This can serve as a guide for your child when gluing. |
(2) Trace your child’s handprint on the green construction paper. You need likely need around ten handprints. Next, cut them out.
(3) Give your child a glue stick and have them glue their handprints onto the paper plate. If you look at the picture, we originally did it wrong as we later had a hole to cut out, but this approach isn’t one that I would recommend. Instead, have your child glue their handprints around the outside edge of the paper plate.
(4) Add a bow. I just traced one that we had and cut it out and glued it onto the wreath.
