| Photo Editing Programs: A Unique Way to Create Your Own Coloring Pages |
| Are you the parent of a toddler or a preschooler who loves to color? If you are, you may spend money on coloring books or spend time searching for printable coloring pages online. While these approaches are great ways to go about finding coloring books or pages for your child, did you know that you can create your own? When it comes to creating your own coloring pages, there are a number of different approaches that you can take. For instance, you can draw on computer paper and than scan your drawing into your computer, making a more professional coloring page that can be used over and over again. You can also use your computer’s paint shop programs to create fun coloring pages. Another unique way that you can go about creating coloring pages for your child is by using a photo editing or photo sharing program. Personally, I use the Kodak Easy Share program, which you can get for free online. Honestly, I do not know how many other photo editing or photo sharing programs have a coloring book feature. This feature is one that allows your photos to be turned into coloring book pages. Basically, it provides you with a detailed outline of your photo, which can be colored. What is nice about using your photo editing or photo sharing software program to create unique coloring pages for your child is that they can color pictures of themselves, their pets, or their family. There is a good chance that this is something that your child will love. My daughter is three and she loves coloring pictures of our family and her favorite things. |
