| Painting: Preschool Activity |
| Painting is a preschool activity that you should do when looking to homeschool preschool your child or prepare them for preschool at home. It is hard to find a preschooler or a toddler who doesn’t love to paint. If your child is young, it may be a good idea to start out with water colors. Once, they have mastered water colors, you will want to move on to “real paint.” Lol, otherwise known as kids paint. Personally, we love the Crayola Kids Paints. Just be sure to purchase extra paintbrushes, as they sometimes magically disappear! In addition to painting traditional pictures on blank paper, you can also use paints to complete a number of fun preschool craft projects, such as the ones outlined here. Painting Tips: If you have large bottles of paint, I recommend putting a few daps of each color on a paper plate. I have found this reduces the mess and wasted paint. Kid’s paints are available for sale at many locations. There are many great brands, but my personal favorite is Crayola. For me, the cheapest place to buy it from is Wal-Mart. Craft stores, like AC Moore, sometimes have buy one get one free sales. |
