| Making “Telescopes,” : Preschool Activity |
| Making a telescope with your child is another fun preschool activity or preschool craft is that you likely already have many of the needed supplies in your home. You will want to start with an empty roll of paper towels. Some people have used the rolls from toilet paper, but the thought of letting my daughter play with something that came from the bathroom is personally too gross for me. If you want to make shorter telescopes, you can easily cut a paper towel roll in half. The paper towel roll itself can act as a telescope, but you will want to decorate it a little bit more. You can use construction paper, markers, crayons, stickers, and so forth to accomplish this. If your child is a fan of the show “Go Diego Go,” you may want to refer to your telescope as a “spotting scope.” |
